On Monday, 29th July 2015, Google announced changes in AdWords Keywords Quality Score Reporting. Here is the announcement on Keyword Quality Score Updates. This update only will effect reporting, it will not affect the performance. This update doesn’t affect quality score calculation methodology, ad auction and ad servicing. It will only affect reporting in a way – all new keywords will get Quality Score of 6 by default. You will see actual Quality score of a keyword for your own account once keyword will accumulate enough Impressions.
IMPORTANT: Quality Score for any new keyword will be 6 by default. Average of all three factors that determines QS i.e. Expected CTR, Ad Relevance and LP Relevance.
